Curious if you ever found the problem with your trans? Did installing Daves tranny cure you issues? Just wondering if your APPS was bad and caused the issues?

 

has the TV cable ever been adjusted or the valve body pressure regulator adjustment, these 2 items must be adjusted together and work in harmony or you will have all kinds of weird shifting going on

 

Trans doesnt shift wierd, just doesnt like to lock up in third with out giving the truck moderate throttle. It wont lock up in third under light throttle at all unless you are around 2k rpms and then ease off the throttle a little and it will lock. Once it locks in 3rd the slightest minute lift of the pedal will cause it to unlock. Lock up in overdrive is normal. I cant figure it out, but everything leads me to a bad APPS sensor. Thats why i asked him if he had to replace his apps senor too. Thanks for the insight.
