Thanks, Kurt. I am having the pressure checked this weekend, and possibly having a pump installed. I have opted to keep it on the block, rather than installed in the tank. What should the pressure be running at, with all stock parts?

You will be $$ ahead if you find a competent local shop that you trust for things that you can't or don't want to fix yourself. Here the shop install price for gages is $75 each. I ended up doing my own. It took longer but now I know how. There is no reason to pay to check fuel pressure or boost. Before having the a pillar gages, I bought a cheap fuel pressure set from Harbor Freight for about $25 that has everything to hook up to most engines. You'll need a boost gage so buy it & use it.

I found a local guy that will install guages for me...cheap. I am thinking about the guages on pillar. What guages would you recommend, and where would be the best place to get them?

Just a quick update...I have code P0230, which I understand is relay failure on the lift pump. Truck still runs, and I drive it daily. I have bought a new pump (stock, 95 GPH) and will be installing that and a new relay this weekend. I will be upgrading to a FASS later this summer, and plan on installing guages ASAP...If I did not have to work 70 hours a week, I would have done this a long time ago...Again, thank everyone for thier help.

Final Update...I have the new pump installed, and all is well. Still getting a code from the key cycle, and I do not know how to clear the ECM. Any suggestions?

Disconnect batteries, turn key On and leave for 30 min. Reconnect batteries, codes should be cleared.
