New VP and weird start up FP readings

I just had my VP replaced about 2 weeks ago. Sense then I've noticed that the FP at startup doesn't immediately jump to the 17 psi like it used to. Rather it slowly builds up pressure 3-6psi and bump to 9psi and then bump to 17psi like normal. Doesn't matter if it's hot or cold and this takes about 30 seconds. I first thought air in the lines so I wasn't concerned but it's been about 2 weeks so all air "should" be gone.

Could they have flashed the PCM to not allow the LP to run for about 30 seconds and then SLOWLY power it on? Wish I could tell you if I hear the LP but it's a walbro and silent.

Ideas?

Unless there is a leak where would the air go?

Eventually it just passes through the IP if I'm not mistaken. We are talking about air in the FP gauge line, not fuel lines from filter to VP or injectors.

I just replaced mine and it did the same thing for a while but came out of it, its just air...Crack the injector lines again and bleed them out...
