Question New VP-44 and Codes Still Present

I posted on the help forum regarding my IP but feel this is not necessarily an emergency. Well, I got my new VP-44 last week and the truck runs great. BUT, I checked the codes this morning and I am still getting the following:

P0122-Throttle Pos Sens Voltage Low
P0216- Fuel Inj Pump Timing Failure
P1693 DTC Detected in Companion JTEC Mod

I am going to call the shop today but wanted your (DTRs) feedback as well. Do you need to "Clear" the codes after R/R of the VP? Is the TPS code a result of the work? I did not have it before.

Thanks

Yes the codes need to be cleared.
Clear the codes, then drive the truck as sometimes it takes 10 or more cycles of the key for any new codes to appear if there are any problems.

Can I clear the codes myself or do I need a OBDII scanner.

Thanks!

Usually after 5 start cycles they go away.

Give it a few days, check them again.
