New guy and I also have a problem
I have a problem w/ my 2002 4x4.I just installed two brand new batteries and now I have a p1693.I havent had any problems with the truck or complaints about it.I bought it and the guy said that he had a new lift pump installed inside the tank.I was also wondering if that is a good thing.
I will appreciate any help

I Would use the "Key trick" to read the codes.... Ignition, Off.. On...Off. On .... Off... Onn, Wait and read the codes, they show up where the odometer is. I also have an intake pump, I would throw a puel pressure gauge in. I think they are fine and last longer than the old style, however they dont seem to have as much pressure as the old ones did.. Thats why we suggest a fuel pressure gauge, so you dont burn the VP44 up especially if you are looking to get injectors or a fuel box. Good luck, and BTW Welcome to DTR!!!! Good times and great info around here!!
