Need some help re-installing valve body
I just installed an MSR shifter kit, and found a few broken pieces in the valve body.
I'm ready to re-install it in the truck, and I would like to find some kind of written or video resource to help me get it back in the tranny properly. Does anyone know of any links that may be helpful? (2001 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 with 47RE). Thanks.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Getting park rod in correct place is the PIA of job. Put a new seal in the housing where shaft goes through housing. Make sure VB is fully seated before tightening bolts. Do not pinch wires as bolt down and when bolt filter to VB.

Thanks for the help on this, especially the scan of the manual which I couldn't find locally in time for the project. The valve body is back in the truck and working reasonably well because I haven't adjusted the TV cable yet.
I still have the shuttle shift problem, and I would like to install the DTT noise filter. Does anyone have a website, phone number, or a link to where I can buy that filter? I see tons of comments, but can't find an actual source to buy it. Thanks again for your help. This truck is a search and rescue vehicle so it's important for me to keep it in top shape.

When my trans was doing the shuttle shift or "stutter shift" thing (I assume you are talking about it shifting back and forth between two gear rapidly) it turned out to be the gov. solenoid and pressure transducer. Replaced those and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for the advice. Did you acquire the governor solenoid and pressure transducer from the dealer, or is there any internet based company that can supply them?
For those that don't know what I mean by shuttle shift, it's when the tranny keeps shifting back and forth between gears at around 50mph. My transmission shop says it's a connection issue and I should take it to a diesel mechanic. I'd rather throw money at it myself than pay big dollars to have someone else guess.

Before you buy anymore parts, try cleaning your grounds. Takes about 20-30 minutes and a wire brush and a piece of sandpaper. Cures most all electrical noise issues.

Dealer... I was advised that there are some parts in these transmission that you just don't want to skimp on and should replace with genuine Mopar parts.
