I got a HTS Ultimate Duty with a Suncoast 90% single disc and it holds my measly 350hp very well. He said it would be good for 450hp. It was a complete tranny with an ultra deep Mag-Tech pan. Going on 30K miles without a single issue. Do a search but I would suggest getting one from HTS, Goerend or DTT. Lots of reading on the subject.

All stock shafts and flexplate. I wanted a good towing tranny and this is what he suggested. I don't do boosted launches or anything crazy but sometimes if I feather the throttle just right between 1st and 2nd gear shifts, it'll get a weeeee bit sideways on me.

Give Dusty at HTS a call. Make sure you build it now to hold what power you may be making down the road. Say your looking at 450 now, but may go for 800 later. Dont get one good for 450 or 600 now, if you think you might go bigger later. Its cheaper to do it right once, than to have to upgrade your 450 tranny when your at 600, and then your 600 tranny at 800+ if that makes sense...
Id rather have a tranny that will hold upwards of 1000hp and not need it that stout than to be at 800 and find myself tearing up stuff in a trans aimed for the 450hp crowd...

I've gotten the impression that there's leaning towards Goerends on this site & a tossup 'tween Goerends & DTT on that other site. I went with DTT cuz that's who had an experienced installer in my area. Since I had mine done, there also seems to be more of an option to do an Allison 1000 (?) conversion...
