i went to auto zone and napa ext and none have fuel pressure tester for diesels.. its either i buy one or buy a gauge. but my dads buddy has a diesel shop im gonna take it to him and hook it up and see if its the pump or gauges if gauges im gonna replace the fpg. fass has been helping me alot also.

You can get a fp test kit from harbor freight. I believe they are fairly inexpensive. Then you just have to get it hooked up to the test port on vp44. I used the vulcan universal fuel line to attach my fp gauge there.

Easyest way to test your gauge IMO- use compressed air to test.
Pressure is pressure.
If you can get a tire filler to supply the pressure on the sensor you have 2 values to compare.
I don't know about glowshift, but with the cheaper gauges available over here it is really important to check the system for accuracy, and return about 20% of the gauge kits to the seller.
