Name all seven grounds
I was trying to check, sand, and retighten all seven grounds on the truck, but only found six. Does anyone know where my missing ground is?
I found:
2 on the firewall- one drivers side one passenger side
3 near the driver's side battery
1 near the hole for the air filter
Which leaves one,....somewhere

We have a winner....
Its actually a very good idea to go through all grounds, make sure the connection is good, maybe clean off the oxidation, and replace the ones you can (cab/box for sure). Bad grounds can cause all sorts of problems...especially on the third gens.

all the above are 5/16
The one between the cab and bed is a 10 mm
Plus I found one on the starter.
Hopefully this thread can help someone else who's checking grounds in the future. Thanks Break Away and Dr Evil for the help

Wire brush is good for getting the crud/dirt of the connections, and if it is a real stiff wire brush you can really clean the connection good. Use the sandpaper to clean the surface, basically you want a bright and shiny connection. The stiff wire brush can sometimes get the bright shiny surface, but I find the sandpaper better for that purpose.
