I just did my KDP a few weeks ago and because i didn't plan ahead, refilled the radiator with 2 gal antifreeze and the rest tap water. Just yesterday the radiator sprung a small leak in the end tank. I want to know if it's because there was too much water in there and it blew up or is my fan clutch about to give up. By the way, had the AC looked at last week and they said the fan clutch was going cause it was spinning freely by hand. I have work tomorrow and plan to fix both by next weekend. I want to know if I can get by fine with just adding more coolant or should i just wait alltogether?!

any extra water will be expanded out into the overflow resorvoir so that was not the problem. probably shust old mine gave out last year 3 day b4 vacation I changed the water and pressure tested only to see a stream of water shooting accross the radiator. Only had time to get a radiator from autozone but installed and doing fine for the past years and pressure tested fine. that clutch fan maybe ok. get the radiator fixed or changed out. can add water for a short time but get the radiator fixed as soon as possible not worth destroying the motor for the price of the rad.
