carb cleaner and u only need to clean the IAT, i replaced mine, whats the easyest way to check the rear breaks for draging or sticking? jack up the rear and spin the tires? it seems like i should have a little more power going up hills then i do too. maybe im expecting to much as far as power but it seemed like my truck was really working going up a 7% gread last night not towing or hauling.
My first thought would be a tired IP
Could be your TV isn't locking up?
I did a decent trip to Tahoe and back last week and averaged 19 mpg.
I average 13 mpg commuting to work and back.Stock TV driving all city streets and stop lights.
Your truck should pull grades with no issue.
My truck purrs over grades without any lag.

You should be very happy with the truck once you take care of the problem

ya i know i will just got to get it there, its an auto and the TV locks up, dont think im getting any sliping. every thing seems to be poinding to the VP44 or maybe time to get new injectors. any way other then to replace them to know if one or the other needs changed?
