Question Mind of its own!

Between 1500 and 1900 the RPM's fluctuate even though throttle is in one position. It seems to do this worse when the engine is cold and it is cold outside. Any suggestions would be nice thank you, this problem is occurring on my 5 speed

The RPM's and other gauges are slightly affected when the intake heater is cycling. Nothing to worry about.

No its not that, there is like a dead spot in the throttle then you push the pedal a little further and it gets past it and its fine. Its just weird and hard to explain.

look at or monitor your tp sensor, even with engine off slowly depress throttle to the floor and back and see if tp ramps up/down smoothly.

my first lift pump failure had those symptoms, like a bad accelerator pump on an older gasoline engine
