THIS MAY SOUND DUMB... But I need INFO
This is my first diesel 2003 Ram 2500 LWB Crew Cab Auto 48re. I am pulling a 5800# TT and whenever I climb even a moderate incline, i dont know if I should switch off the OD, drop it into first or second or what ? When I switch off OD and climb it goes up to 2800 rpm and it starts to redline at 3200. The truck only has 700 ( seven hundred ) miles on it. Am I driving it correctly? It shifts a lot and hard. Is this normal for a diesel??? Thanks A Lot Dave
