I agree with rjohnson, I mix a little (2-3 oz) tcw-3 ashless dispersant 2 cycle oil in my fuel. As mentioned, it is designed to burn, and lubricate. I have run it in my old 85 Toyota diesel and never a burb in 340K. I also ran straight, and a slight mix of JET-A for about 10 years, Those were the cheapest fuel years of my life

I know others as well that run the same, again up to the owner,

I ran Marvel in my aircraft oil(and a little in the gas) for years, and alot of General Aviation old timers sweared by the stuff, again not a burb with the airplane either...

I personally don't understand why if you're going to use an additive you don't just use one that's designed for diesel fuel rather than try to invent a new mouse trap.
Plenty to choose from out there.

Its kind of like history MMO has been around longe rthen most other stuff....... and it works!!

Just my 2 cents,I haul RV's and one of the guys I run with has a 97 CTD,he has 700k and never replaced inj.pump and only 2 lift pumps,uses Marvels every tank fill up.
