low voltage TPS?
this girl i know is broke down in GA and has a code of low voltage TPS she said, i didn't ask her the code number.
it has been at 4 shop there she said, trans rebuild 2X, the APPS has been changed 4 times in the past 6 months i guess.
symptoms, RPM serge, dead pedal, no rpm, code low voltage TPS (assuming she means APPS) will not go way
low fuel pressure lite function and not on.
300,000 mile on truck, 99 3500 2WD auto, unknown if the VP has ever been changed.
i send her a ECM i had that is used and never tested that i belive is good, it ran better with my ECM but not cured. i do not know for sure it is good but bet it is, they were the same part # and came off a 2500 4WD 99 auto.
the guy i got the ECM from gutted his 99 and put in a twin turbo 12V, it is strictly a pulling truck now, he said it worked fine when removed, so bought the ECM and PCM for spares for my 99.
what do you think?

I'm going to have her check this, she has a volt meter with her.
does anyone have a diagram of the pin and voltage at the 6 pin connector of the ECM harness? i think the harness and colors it this video are the Timbo APPS (dont know if the colors are the same in a OEM apps)
I'd like to check the unplugged voltage where the TPS hooks to? that would be a little bit less confusing.
i assume the key is on for this test?

update.
they did try the different ECM first and it helped not didn't fix it.
she said they put in the correct tps and it ran fine. i dont know how they could put in 3-4 wrong tps, but that's the story i got??
the shifting issue was the cable adjustment at the APPS
she is up and running and hauling cars again.
