Low power high EGT

Low power high EGT
First time diesel owner. My truck ran great until 2 months ago. I have a loss of power pulling hills (even with no load). Empty my rpms are around 2200-2400, doing 50-55 mph, boost is 21lbs, egt is 1100-1200. I have changed fuel/air filters, lift pump, with no change. It used to pull the same hills at 10lbs, 800-900deg. Truck has 103,000 and still has orig Inj Pump. Driving around town you dont really notice, runs ok. Im learning as I go. Any ideas?

These are just some ideas..
Did you check your intercooler boots?
What is your fuel pressure?
Is your PacBrake operating correctly?
Is your tranny working in all gears? Does it shift fluently or is it abrupt or non-existant....
HAVE YOU MODDED ANYTHING ON THIS TRUCK?????

I havent checked my intercooler boots yet, looking for cracks etc. Are you talking about fuel pressure the lift pump is putting out? I havent checked that either, I just replaced the pump instead. The tranny seems to be shifting ok, its not a real hard shift but it goes through all the gears, the truck is stock, and the PacBrake I have wired open just to make sure it wasnt stuck and blocking my exhaust.

....this scenario has me a bit puzzled. Lots of rpm for the mph. I would almost have to say 4.10 gears with the OD turned off, and to hit 21 psi boost would be tops on a stock truck as the waste gate opens at 18-22. To me that sounds like pulling a trailer up a grade, OD off and leaning into it pretty hard. Is it possible it is not going into torque convertor lock up?

You might want to check you MAP and IAT sensors to be sure there not all gummed up... This is what mine look like after 6K miles...
And a small shot of carb cleaner...
Usually I would see highier pyro number and black smoke when I get on the throttle heavy. After cleaning them the pyro goes down and the MPG come up! Check here for more info on it...

You might also check the air filter too...

I think you guys are on. After the tranny suggestion I drove a friends auto diesel, it shifts a lot harder than mine, and has more throttle response. I think your right, not locking up. Would'nt I get a error code from this? (3.55, OD off, pulling hill empty)
