A little help
Hello, not sure if this is in the wrong section or not. But im going to look at a 99 24v cummins on Wednesday. The truck has 280k miles on it, new hot rod injection pump, air dog 150gph, edge comp box, rebuilt tranny, long arms, new brakes, rotors, and calipers, along with steering upgrades. I've never owned a diesel truck before, and wondering if anyone can share some insight as to what to look for to make sure this truck is mechanically sound, as i don't know too much about Cummins. I drove it the other day and noticed that when I put it into drive and reverse the truck would jerk, is this something to be concerned about. And what should the gauges be reading. thanks
