I started up my pickup last night after doing some work under the hood, and the check engine light was on, so I got to thinking and finally figured out that I had forgot to reconnect a censor, so i did and started it up again and the light is still on...I was wondering if it will reset itself, or if i need to go and get it reset?

disconnect the batterys for 5 minutes or so....light should not come back on.
