In line fuel pressure gauge
If I am not mistaken, I dont need to do a big line kit because I am installing the FASS kit. I think the big line kit comes with soft hose intead of hard line though, so you can put a T fitting in aput a gauge in line. Is there anywhere to install a gauge in line without the big line kit???
the reason I ask is I have one left over from a previous car, wanted to mount it.

NOt really. It's not so much the big line kits as the fittings that come in them.
You can buy banjo fittings tapped for a guage from Geno's garage.
I'd suggest the enlarged fittings. The problem isn't so much the line size as the tiny openings in the fittings. That's the real reason to buy a big line kit.
My big line kit gave me a steady 3-4psi more, and increased my WOT fuel pressure from 3psi to 10+ on the stock LP.

inline gauge
Is there any particular reason you want to go with an inline fitting? I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as probably 90% of the people on here, but I just put a pressure gauge in last week. I got a 90 degree needle valve ($4) that came with a compression fitting on the outlet side which fit my 1/4" outer diameter nylon hose. I tapped that into the post filter test pott on top of the fuel filter (1/8" NPT I believe). If you have an existing gauge, I think that would be the easiest way to go (also completely reversible if need be).
This way I can shut off the lines to the gauge off at the source in case of a problem (and also control the amount of fuel flow to eliminate the needle jumping).
