liftpump change

liftpump change

could someone tell me where to get the lines to replace the banjo lines.i am gonna buy a new lift pump from cummins on friday.i know my pump is bad because i put a pressure gauge on it was 8psiat idle 4cruising 0 at wot i got my gauge kit from genos garage.it is a westac electric.i also put a mechinacal gauge directly on the front plug on the filter housing and it well under 10psiat idle.this is my first post thanks

With your upgrades you don't need to replace the lines just pick up the larger banjo bolts from Geno's. They will flow 50% more fuel.

www.wildcatdiesel.com has both the larger Banjo Bolts & the High Flow lines either one will fix you right up.

The fuel pressure is very important to the longevity of the VP injection pump.

Cool

I went with the braided lines and eliminated the banjo bolts. My stock lift pump went 65,000 miles with good pressure. I have since changed it out to a PE4200 due to all of my mods.

If you wanted to piece a kit together on your own, you could try
www.summitracing.com , but it looks like the kit above is nice, and already built to fit your truck, as far as length of hose, etc.
