lift pupm question
when you turn the key on and the lift pump starts doing its thing and then shuts off is this a timed process or does it shut off when it reaches a certain pressure?
Also, i noticed after driving my truck during the day and shutting it off if i restart it soon after it takes considerably longer to start. But when i come out in the morning to fire it up for the first time it starts like a brand new truck. It always start on the first attempt and it does not crank slow i was wondering if any of yall have noticed this or if its just me.

First fill out your sig so we know what truck you are talking about. Yes the pump times out. Bump the starter and the pump should run for 20 to 25 seconds and time out. As far as the hard start what is your fuel pressure?
