lift pump hell

it may not be the lift pumps that are bad...it may be your trucks wiring has a short or broken wire and the lift pump is getting a bad rap for it....
I went through a couple lift pumps and it was not the pump it was the wire entering the connecter on the vehicle wiring harness side..
what would happen is the wire would be fine and then randomly would lose power to the lift pump and then eventually just would not work...
you need to disconnect the lift pump and check for 12 volt power with a meter. bump the ignition and you should have power to that connection for 25 seconds...you must push, pull , bend the wire...you may find a loss of power when wiggling wire.....Thats how I found the problem.
