Without a transmission cooler or a temperature gauge you could get into serious expensive trouble real fast. You know how the tach hovers around 2,000 rpms on easy acceleration? That is heat building slippage. The only safe operation is when you are fast enough to lock the converter. Then you only have the gear and bearing heat to contend with.

Poor ideal bypassing cooler without adding cooler. It is there for reason!!!! You may only have a seal leaking oon tranny oil cooler.
