Angry Leaking Water From Converter Oil Cooler

MY CONVERTER OIL COOLER IS LEAKING WATER.... BESIDES BUYING A NEW ONE..... CAN I BUY-PASS IT FOR NOW.... ITS THE ONE UNDER THE TURBO & EXHAUST MANIFOLD....... PLEASE HELP

I think you can by-pass it. It does not fit with most twin turbo kits so I assume it's safe to be removed or temporarily by-passed.

Without a transmission cooler or a temperature gauge you could get into serious expensive trouble real fast. You know how the tach hovers around 2,000 rpms on easy acceleration? That is heat building slippage. The only safe operation is when you are fast enough to lock the converter. Then you only have the gear and bearing heat to contend with.

Poor ideal bypassing cooler without adding cooler. It is there for reason!!!! You may only have a seal leaking oon tranny oil cooler.
