Lack of crank case vent??
I just bought the 98.5 in my sig, and where there should be a crank case vent tube there is only a cover. My friend's 01 has a hockey puck looking thing on the timing case with a 180* elbow and a vent tube. Did the 98.5's not have this, or do I need to put one on?

The previous owner may have had the crankcase breather overflow TSB done on the truck.
This link describes the procedure http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2002/09-002-02.htm

I will look in today. So, there is a breather tube, but it is connected in a different place and runs down behind the starter? Any one have pics, or should it be obvious? Thanks!
