Just don't have the power it used to ( I think)
Truck is 2001 2500 club cab long bed automatic tran. with 55,000 miles.<br>I just returned to Hawaii from the Mainland where the truck is left in my daughters hands while I am in Hawaii. She is a good driver ( drives UPS for 18 yrs) and keeps up with having it serviced. My feeling when I got there was that the truck just didn't have as much umph as it used to have. Is their more I should be doing then just routine service? We keep the air filter changed and I change the fuel filter every 10 thou. plus the oil changed and tran serviced per schedule. <br>Is their adjustments to check or that should have been made ? The Dealers service dept. we use don't realy seem to be diesel experts.

run down to your local auto parts and pick up a fuel pressure gauge. You will see a the pre filter check point on your filter housing. You can also check it post filter in the injection pump. It should be 12-15psi at idle and or no less than 8 or so at wot.
Go ahead and change your fuel filter while your at it.
If this checks good go ahead and do an APPS recalibration.
Undo neg posts
Let it set for 30 minutes
reconnect
turn key to on position (do not start)
press accell. pedal slowly to floor
let up slowly
turn off key
your done.
