Installing Trans Temp Guage

I have an '01 2500 CTD with an AT and want to install a transmission temperature gauge. Is there a preferred way to install the sensor? I thought that I had read here about a earlier year 'Y' tube that would install without any cutting but my search effort turned up nothing.

What say ye?

Re:Installing Trans Temp Guage

Here's a good thread concerning the temp sensor locations and Shovelhead even gives the part number of the early-model stock factory line that some guys use.
