How hard is it to fit them up to your stock injectors?

These are the end of the injector where the fuel actually sprays from they have larger holes than stock.

They were fairly easy, I used a piece of 1/4" flat stock in the end slot, and a 15mm deep socket on the injector cap, removed stock nozzles and cleaned entire inside of injectors with brakeparts cleaner, then reassembled and torqued to 28 ft lbs.

So why would you buy these instead of complete injectors?

That's what I'm thinking. I can get $99, but not 3 to 4 hundred for a set of whole injectors. Plus I don't like to replace things that are working OK. My only other concern is EGTs. I have a stock exhaust, and worry if they will send my EGT's too high when towing.

They havent raised my EGTs much. If you have a chip keep it turned down for towing for EGT purposes but with my edge comp on 5x5 I was towing my boat through the hills at 1100* so they arent too bad on EGT. at idleit says 500-550* with ac on and in gear, but I think I need a new EGT probe.

Ok so would this be the same thing as a 50 hp injector upgrade. I like them any chance you can explain more what the flat stock was used for.

it will add 40-50 hp ( probably the cheapest 40-50 hp available)

the flatstock is used in the grove on the top to hold the top of the injector so you can loosen the cap that holds the nozzle to the injector. i have seen people use channel locks as well.
