Injector Connector tubes

When changing out injectors i have found trucks that had raw fuel around the injector down in the bore below the oring on the outside of the injector. Do you at times after several injector changes need to install new tubes or will this fuel even present a problem? This is on a 24valve trucks.

2 ans in one- you 'should' change the 'O' rings every time
and ,2 Norther Diesel up here told me that bosh offers a newer improved version of said tube......and to use it.
I did.-Also the torq is pretty criical if your a anemal you can snork it dwn to far and ruin the seal surface

How can you find new part number for the tube.

just ask the parts dude at cummins for the part and he will know the number
