Ignition switch problem?
If i turn my ignition switch hard all the way to start sometimes it will not fire up, it spins the motor over okay. Than I turn switch slowly and as soon as starter engages the engine fires right up. My question is ,does this sound like ignition switch is failing? .....2001 24 valve

Yes the wait to start light comes on. It just seems like if I turn my key too far the engine won't fire up somtimes. Turns over 100%. If I turn key just until the engine turns over she fires up right away.

I was the one who posted about this in another thread. The lift pump is definitely connected to this wait to start light, that is why it will not start until the light comes on. As soon as the light comes on, I can here the pump turn on and start the truck immediately. There is no need to wait until the light turns off to start the engine. The question is, why is my truck now delaying sending power to the pump?
Anyone familiar with the electrical system of the grid heaters and the fuel system? It seems to me that they are connected.
