I am looking for a rear axle carrier for 3:55 gears. I have a 2002 dodge 2500 4X4 with one ton axles and 4:10 gears. I have a set of ring and pinions for 3:55 gears for both front and back. The dealership looked at swapping them out for me. The problem is when going from a 4:10 gear to a 3:55 you have to change the carrier in the rear axle. If anyone has one, or knows someone with one please PM me. Any other ideas? Thank’s, James

You could get a new limited slip carrier from DANA. I think there are some aftermarket lockers available as well, if you wanted to go that route.

When I looked for one the best I could do was $750 for new. I went through classifieds to get mine. Here or the Other site.

I have one will sell it cheap you pay the freight, LSD is OK but not great, no bearings. PK
