the heater hose trick is just removing the bottle and extending the hose down with a piece of heater hose.

its helped keep some of the oil from being blown all over the front suspension on my truck, but i still get oil drips on the driveway.

"quantrill88" did a good job explaining the "heater hose"
solution. I did the same thing on my 02' Dodge CTD but
used the same clear tube that was used on the early
94'-97' 12 valve trucks. As he said, it keeps all the oil
off the front of the engine, but a very small amount
still drips on the ground. (One or two drops overnight.)
