i was driven home tonight after being out on a little ride not run the truck hard chip off quarter tank of fuel and my low fuel presure light comes on but its very dim truck runs fine and i can here the fass pump runing anyone have any ideals

Check pressure with a manual gauge maybe sensor error?.... Could also be a dirty fuel filter? possibly bad fuel where you filled up?

Does the light usually get brighter with less fuel pressure? J.K. If it's a light, it should either be on or off, if it is just dim it's an electrical prob. or another light bleeding over.

the thing is when i first start the truck the light use to blink bright wile strarting then go off now it just dims out and stays on

Sounds like theres an electrical short somewhere.... I have had problems when salt water off treated roads gets on non sealed sensors and connections... causes them to do strange things

i think the best was i had a lil under a 1/4 tank once. backing down the steep boat launch ramp DING... im like *** is that. looking around all doors are closed etc... see the light on the dash and think hmmm.. the gauge traveled down to 1/8 of tank. no where near empty. they must give you plenty of warning when getting low because of the pain to get restarted if you lose prime... needless to say i launched fast and got it to leval ground.

Exactly, for the last week my brake controller has been telling me there is a trailer hooked to my truck, but I sure don't see it.
