How much is to much
Kinda dumb question but i'm kinda paranoid. The other night I ran hear full out empty for about 15-20min. It was probably 10degree's out and none of the factory guages moved at all "heat wise". Could I have done any damage? I'm usually very mindful of warm up's and taking it real easy until it's warm and maintanence blah blah. Just worry about putting the hurt on her, I go through many vechicles because of boredom and what have you but I LOVE this truck and have vowed to keep her for a long time. Thanks Fellas, Corey

i would say no, you didn't hurt anything...especially if your stock, but in my opinion i would NEVER do that without having gauges to monitor the fuel pressure and especially the EGT's. if your running full out non-stop your EGT's probably ran pretty high and you would never know it by looking at the dash board. these motors are tough as nails but high cylinder temp's (egt's) can be their enemy if not monitored, especially with that kind of driving style....good luck and get some gauges!

Thanks a million guys. You put my paranoid mind to ease. I usually baby her but got dumb on night and after reading about another member on here blowing his engine and DC wanting like 10grand to fix I panic'd. Thanks Corey
