How to get tow'd?

Flat Bed!!!!!!!!!
My mechanic has AAA and he was with me when I lost a VP on my old 1999 he called and request a flatbed only tow.
Reason was becasue we didnt have tools or a strap. And for those who say "if it's a short distance...." our tow to his shop was less than 3 miles (we were actually headed there in my truck to finish the work on his truck we started the night before new cam, injectors, and turbo with dyno runs)
Thats how I did it. Thats what he recommended and he has never let me down.

hahaha wow this thread has takin life!
I ended up not having to tow it after all. Ended up being a few blown fuses that my chip was plugged into. Just wanted to wait till day light and warmer temps to figure it out.
Thanks for all the info guys. I think better to be safe then sorry, and if I ever do need a tow, prob just flat bed it.
