Hi my friends 99 dodge 2500 4x4 auto with 250,000 miles has miss when you are trying to accelerate has rebuild vp pump, new lift pump, map sensor, fuel filter, and a new set of inj. And no codes. Any ideas tues day we are going to pick it up at the shop and I will put a fuel pressure gauge on it and try and reset the apps. I will also check the batts. and clean all the ground conn. We appreciate any advice you can give us thank you and have a happy new year.

You might want to consider a compression test.

retrace your steps or install the original sensors back in for testing. you might have a bad sensor. Let the truck idle and crack each fuel line at the injector to properly bleed the lines. Double check all fuel lines, the one before the lp might be loose and sucking air.

Well I fixed it trailered it home put a fuel pressure gauge on it it had 10 psi before start up and 0 psi after started.Swaped in one of my spare lift pumps same psi. Looked over fuel system had some rust on the 90 deg fittings on the tank had him order the draw straw and big line kit from vulkan. Installed every thing and wired fuel pump on a relay now the truck has 14 psi before started and 0 psi running. Pulled fuel filter and there is the proublem full of corrosion and the filter looks like its going to explode. New filter truck runs good know! And this is why I will work on my own truck I even told the monkeys at that shop to check the fuel pressure.
