Help... problem with Edge
I just installed an Edge J/A and for some reason I cannot adjust any of the power settings, the power display indicates a "0" everything else seems to work, even removing the end plate I have scrolling leds (first 3 do not scroll)
I've double checked all connections, no joy
when I click on low boost fueling in the menu screen I hear a beep but nothing happens, all the other menu selections work???????
Help?
Opps just realised I posted in wrong section, and I cant delete this post and move it, Mods please move thanks!

Update... it appears I have a faulty attitude (monitor) as the software glitch wont allow you to adjust the throttle responsiveness, little did I know you can adjust the power levels just by pushing the up/down arrows when you are monitering the gauges, I must have missed that somewhere in the instruction book, anyway Edge is sending me a new monitor, as they want this to go directly back to him. I spent over 1/2 an hour between 4-5 calls as edge kept calling back to confirm different things.
If anyone is interested I can tell ya which version is the one with the problem
all in all I'm very happy with their service as he is going out of his way to accomidate me
on a side note I've only used level 4 and whooooooo, (cant adjust the sublevels) I'm half scared of going to 5 incase the VP decides to protest(or die) I have a fairly low mileage, well maybe not VP. New VP in May and about 60,000kms on it
anyone wanna guess on if it will crater or not?

Another update:
I was reminded of this in another thread that I posted in, so incase someone else has this same issue:
If you follow the manuals instruction on how to change settings you might miss this important part. before you can change the "low boost settings" you have to move the power setting from 0 (or stock) to any other setting first. this is done by simply pressing the up down arrows. then you can go in the sub menu and adjust the low boost settings. I dont think there was anything wrong with my orginal unit, just me not following instructions well!!

Haha, yeah level 4 is pretty bad. Level 5 cooked my VP....and the unlockable level.,..I don't even wanna try after what level 5 did to me, but I hear it's a whole new monster. You got the airdog though so you should be ok. Wait till ya start messing with the low boost fueling

I post this 2 1/2 months ago, just thought I'd follow up on it. I typically drive 8hrs a day on 5x5 or 5x4. I've logged 10,000+kms since I installed it, I've played with 5x6, it hauls, but I have the Torque management crap in the pcm and off the line it limits my power.
