Most torque wrenches have to be above 20% of their capacity to be accurate. It' just take a guesstimated shot at it, and be careful not to over do it.
One way I guesstimate torques is to grab the wrench at exactly 6 inches and apply what I think is twice the force. So, if I need 10lb-ft, I pull with 20lb of force at 6in and it's equivalent. I lift weights pretty regularly, so I'm pretty decent at ballparking weight in the 15-50lb range.

I just had the same thing going on after I just put in new injectors. Went for a test drive and came home with fuel all over the drivers side and tailgate. I had a hunch maybe #6 had a problem cuz it didnt snap down like the rest so I pulled it back out and half of the copper washer is black from what I assume is combustion. Tomorrow I am going to get a new washer and o-ring and see if there is anything on the injector seat and give it a whirl.
