Got dead pedal...leaning towards apps
Got the dead pedal yesterday while driving and it pulled the p0121 and p0237 codes. I haven't had time to do a apps reset yet, but I dont think that will help anyway. I'm leaning towards the apps crapping out on me, and hoping that its not the IP. Anyone know where I can find an apps, besides the dealer? I looked on ebay, but didn't have time to do a real in-depth search, so I couldn't find one. As far as trhe p0237, I'm going to replace the map sensor here soon and see if that helps. Thanks for any help guys.

I bought my truck used and the dealer put an apps under the hood and replaced my oil pan gasket all under warranty at 95,000. They said Dodge will replace engine components up to 100,000 miles.

I got the apps code before, I put Dads apps on my truck and it still had D.P., put it on a buddy's snapon scanner, The apps was working, but the ECM was not reading it. got a ecm from a junkyard and that fix it. am I saying your ecm is bad? no, but Hohn had the same problen and bought a new apps. just to find out his ecm was bad also. something to think about

So you are getting APPS Codes and Over boost??
Me too..... I'm going to try the APPS voltage callibration. I hope it's not the ECM
I get dead pedal just off idle (like rolling through a school zone) very annoying.

Apps
I had to replace my APPS this past summer. I can't remember what the code was, but along the lines of APPS voltage low. I looked around, but had to get mine from the dealer. I hope you can find one from a source other than dealer as it was a pricey item. I just dug out the receipt ... $642 Can plus tax! At least the re and re is a piece of cake.
Best of luck.

I have a buch of parts in the mail right now. This will be the first time I have bought parts from them. I searched a buch of differant sites some with a very similar address and this was the cheapest.
Good luck.

Thanks guys for the help. For now, since funds are pretty low, I'm just gonna drive it til it don't drive no more. It only did it once, and that was 200 miles ago. So for now, I'm just gonna hope it doesn't leave me stranded on the road. Thanks again.

Yeah mine has been doing it for like the last 40,000 miles or more, I mostly just ignore it, ytouch the pedal 3X and away it goes again, don't ask me why. It has gotten progressively worse and should be fixed. Not sure if it will someday crap out and doi nothing but idle.

I did the APPS Voltage callibration procedure o Monday seems to have fixed my problem!! I have no more dead pedal or codes so far!! That was well worth the short time and $0.0 invested.
