codes are: I had 4 codes P0336 & P1689 and those two duplicated
P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor Performance they said sensor A @the auto parts store what ever that means? but I can get a sensor and replace it will do that next couple days no problem...
P1689 No Communication Between ECM & Injection Pump Module
what does that mean? there is a Powerpuck installed from previos owner I am going to remove that & there is a PACBrake that is dissconnected per previous owner.. what does this code mean? I got the definition off this websites code meanings
thank you for any help or advice...

does your truck run? 1689 indicates a failed VP or I believe there is a relay that can fail in the fuze box(under hood) IIRC its called ASD (auto shut down or something like that) it can be switched out with one of the other relays
power puck is known to fail and cause diveability or nostart conditions, but I believe it wont cause a code or erase a code if you remove it (I could be wrong)

yes it runs its hard to start sometimes I think it has to do with the puck but I ALSO HAD ELECTRICAL problems so relay/fuse under hood is worth a look see.. thank you
