Goood vibrations!

Ok so maybe they arent good, but I couldnt resist...
Anyway...ive noticed a new vibration in the floorboard of my truck lately and wanna know if its normal or if my transmission is about to shoot through the floor. It only happens when i let my foot off the accelerator and im going downhill...it almost feels like there is some slack in the gears and I didn't notice it till i got a new clutch. Any idears?

Thanks!

Definately check the u-joints. I've noticed that depending on where I put my foot on the floorboard I can feel a vibration in mine. I just move my foot and voila, the vibration, she is fixed.

Ahh, didnt even think about the U-joints... i'll bet these are the stock ones and they have about 140k miles on them so i would imagine they are needing to be replaced...thanks guys

U-Joint problems are not uncommon after 100,000 miles. Sounds like the best place to start. Also carrier bearing...if a long bed? Mine started squeeking/rumbling at 95,000 miles.
