Thanks man. If I was pushing enough boost, I may do it. But I'm not. Hey, did you port and polish it out? Might gain you some extra air flow.

As others said, no glow plugs on CTD.<br><br>The heaters are there mostly to reduce emissions in regular usage until the engine is up to temp. They aren't needed for starting in moderate temps or higher (over 50°F or so).<br><br>They are only needed for starting in very cold weather. After that, the run to reduce smoke and emissions, not necessarily because the engine needs them.<br><br>They also draw a LOT of current-- like 90 amps! That's why your headlights flicker when they cycle.<br><br>Now that it's warm, I crank mine instantly and start it like a gasser.<br><br>HOHN
