Getting Very Aggravated!!!!!!!!!!
I finally broke down and replaced the IP on Sunday. Now the truck idles kinda' rough but, runs fine otherwise. The IP definitely fixed my dead pedal problem. But, the truck still repeatedly goes into and out of LOCK-UP. When you get into OD at about 1500 rpm it constantly goes from 1500 to 1800 to 1500 to 1800 to 1500 well you get the picture. If i let off the accelerator slightly it seems to do ok or if I run it up to 70+mph (2000 +rpm) it will only deviate about 50-100 rpm ever so often. I have read to wrap the Alt to battery wire with aluminum foil, also to solder all the connectors at the battery. I have wrapped the wire but, haven't soldered the connections. Didn't i read on here somewhere somebody makes a noise filter module or something that will fix this problem. I think it was about 90.00 if I remember. Thanks for any assisstance..............

I think I wrapped the right wire. I wrapped the brown (about 10 ga.) that had some sort of stripe on it. I did the APPS reset a couple weeks back before I replaced the IP. I'll try it again today.
