Getting ready for gauges

I'm going to buy a full gauge setup (FP, pyro, boost, tranny) soon. My question is about the FP gauge, I'm going to buy Di-Pricol gauges most likely from Geno's, so I'm wondering what else I need to buy in order to hook that gauge up. I need the additional hose for the isolator, but do I also need a tapped banjo bolt or banjo bolt kit?

Thanks

Re:Getting ready for gauges

There have been problems with that f/p gauge. Please check to make sure that they have been corrected.

Your truck, being a '99 model, does not have to have the banjo bolts to install the gauge. You can tap either port atop the fuel filter cannister. You need an 1/8 pipe male to -4AN male adapter. Then have the line made, and you're good to go. The port closest to the outer rim of the cannister is pre-filter. The one closer to the center is post-filter. I'd utilize post.

I brought all mine down together, : not much room to pull through.

Re:Getting ready for gauges

You may also wish to consider a mechanical FP gauge. They seem not to have the problems that ones with electrical senders have. Geno's did have problems with their mechanical, specifically the Isolator, but apparently that problem has been corrected by their supplier now. Or you can run a mechanical with a SS braided hose and not worry about an isolator. That's what I did after a lot of reading and research.
