I did the pump a month or 2 back so fuel smells should be gone, do you just use a wrench on the lines? thanks for the help truck seems to be nickle and diming me right now

looks like #5 and 6 injector lines were loose at the head I guess i should know soon if that was the problem, my buddie just bought the same truck as mine in 3/4 ton and it was leakin bad from those 2 and they were loose, is this a common problem?

Those last two are the PIA's to get to, mostly #6. I used the recommended torque of 28 ft/lbs and they sealed fine within a short time. Some have said they couldn't get the torque wrench back there, but I had no problem, specially since your lift ring isn't there. I was, however, using my 3/8 drive in/lb with a crows-foot since I cinched the injector hold downs just prior, so maybe the smaller wrench helped out.

i was able to tighten it some(#6) with a wrench then put on a line wrench crowsfoot with a long 3/8" rachet that worked good till I slipped off and smashed my hand ugh but the last 2 were real loose like a full turn or more

If you do the key trick wait a few seconds after p-done shows, then it will check the ecm and show e-done. at least mine does.

Also I agree with DodgeCowboy. If you got diesel on your hands, clothing or boots you can track it into the cab. Especially if you have cloth seats and carpet.
