I would suggest on frame and no regulator. It has a built in bypass. I have one in my pictures.

Drain some fuel so you won't get a diesel shower. When you raise the front of the truck, use jackstands to help keep the truck off yer vital parts

I went ahead and got a carter lp as a replacement. I am in the middle of moving so i was in a hurry to get my truck running. I will keep the holley pump and maybe install it as a pusher pump sometime in the near future.

as for the lifting the truck and jackstands, you could say i have access to a shop with about 6 lifts (3-2 post and 3-4 post) so i dont have any problems getting under my truck.
