Forgive me if I get the ratios wrong (It's Drink'n Nite ! )
I have a 2k dually smoker 6speed with a 411 rear end. If I went to a higher rear end ratio.....what would it cost me to do it and how many MPG would I gain?

to have a new ring and pinion done on my chevy gasser a few years ago it was about750.00 so you can expect a little more for a dodge. My Brother has a 3.73 rear in his 98 12v and I have 4.10 in my 99 24v and he gets about 2 mpg better than me. I am gonna go up to 33" tires on my next tire change and that should help out some

Thanks for the info....probably not worth it for the fuel savings...whats the top speed difference? I can only go around 90 MPH or so.....

 

I got 3.54's from the factory and I can barry the speedo on the autobahn. That was before the trans started to kill over. Had to disconnect the Edge EZ and now my ctd will only do 110mph. Think it's much faster if the speedo was correct to the tire size.

 

Your sig says 4x4...so front would need to be done too. I'd budget $2k.
