Fuel leak, can't trace
I have a fuel leak - it's definitely #2 diesel. It does not leak when the engine is running, but puddles on the ground for 10 or 15 minutes after the engine is shut off. The longer the engine is run, the more fuel leaks out after shutdown. It's dripping out of the small gap at the bottom of the 6 speed tranny bell housing in back of the oil pan, but the bottom of the starter also has some fuel on it. Rest of the engine & accessories are dry.
Looking all over the engine, I don't see the problem. Tried tightening the injector tube nuts at the block, inspected the tubes and VP-44, looked over the fuel intake and recirculation lines, lift pump connections, filter housing, etc. Surely there's no fuel connections inside the bell housing, right?
Had this experience once before, and it was a loose injector tube nut. Apparently not this time. Any suggestions?

There is a return line that comes out of the back of the head, comes down the drivers side of the block at the very rear and joins up with the return line from the VP.
If I'm not mistaken, the outlet at the back of the head is a banjo bolt so there is a possibility of a leak developing.
You don't have a sig filled out so I'm taking a stab at you have a 24 valve because of your 6 spd mention.
