Front tires wearing on the inside?

The 35” tires on my truck rub a little if I turn the truck real hard. The inside of the tires are wearing. Is it because of the rubbing or an alignment issue? The truck drives straight as can be expected with the larger tires. Any thoughts?

if you do a lot of "unloaded" driving it will tend to wear inside of tires because the factory setup was intended to be loaded. when you hook up a trailer it will tend to squat the rear and lift the front to center them. run it by shop have them look at it if its out tell them you do unloaded driving most of the time and see if they can correct it

The ball joints are not real tight. If you grab the sway bar you can rotate it front to back rocking it front to back but there is no slop up or down.

Unless you get enough info here stop at a couple alinement shops , I think that you may have better luck at independent / not franchises .
2nd opinions , have them show you what they are talking about , come back & get 3rd & 4th opinions about what they say , there are some after market / up grades that can be better than stock .

To inspect ball joints on your truck. Jack up that side and grab the top of the tire and bottom of tire and see if it moves in and out. If it does then it is either ball joints or hub brgs. If someone else does it for you and you watch the ball joints you will see if there is any abnormal movement.

Does it wander on the straight roads at lower speeds? Sounds like ball joints to me, or toed out a little. Check the trac bar joints too, this is common. Kurt
