I just wanted to put this out there. I have been putting up with the hunting transmission for a while now and finally went in there and tried some of the things mentioned on here. I cleaned the battery terminals, i checked the block grounds, and cleaned and added a ground to the pcm (put ground in from pcm to neg. battery post). Also i reset the apps for good measure (i did this before with no response). Just took the truck on a road trip down to venice, la. and it seems to have fixed the problem. Like having new truck almost.

Putting 2 ferrite chokes and aluminum wrapping the orange tracer wire on the back of the alternator helped mine out also...
