Factory LP replacement
I replaced my factory LP a year ago with an AirDog and am currently rebuilding the engine. As I am putting it together i am looking for ways to save space. i thought about eliminating the LP mounting bracket to provide easier access to the starter. Isn't that bracket covering up some holes or something? How about if I just cut the top side of the bracket off and bolt the engine mounting side back up?
Any thoughts?

You could cut the plate down and or make a block off plate which would only need 2 bolts. If you go this route, just buy a 12V lift gasket and burn some steel, drill a couple of holes and mount it up.
